This is my first-ever photobook made in 2021. “You can’t walk this earth forever. Someday you will have to fly.” is a photographic project created after the passing of my Australian mother. It explores the existentialist perspective relating to the concepts of being, death, and the meaning of one’s life. Through this project, I attempt to develop poetic strategies to process my subjective lived experience of loss and grief, the mortality of life, and to seek insights into existential aspects of the human condition.
